2017 World Tourism Cities Federation Los Angeles Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit Comes to a Conclusion

     The World Tourism Cities Federation(WTCF) Los Angeles Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit came to a conclusion on September 20th. Hundreds of guests including mayors of WTCF member cities, principal staff of the WTCF Secretariat, representatives of WTCF city and institutional members, media and representatives of the tourism businesses attended the closing ceremony held in Universal Studios Hollywood, organized by Sino-American Friendship Association.

     The event started with a speech from Song, Yu, secretary-General of WTCF. Song said that this year's summit, with a theme of "Impact of Globalization on World Tourism City Development”, published the LA Declaration of WTCF and hosted in-depth discussions on promoting world tourism including inclusive development. He thanked LA and the guests for their support and attendance. He then presented souvenirs to the representative of LA, Patti MacJennett, senior Vice President of Business Affairs at LA Tourism & Convention Board. MacJennett delivered a speech and expressed gratitude for the success of the summit and afterwards, she presented souvenirs to Song, Yu in return.

     MacJennett handed the WTCF flag back to Song, Yu. Song, Yu then handed the flag to Luan, Xin, Deputy mayor of Qingdao, the hosting city of 2018 Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit. Luan, accepted the flag and delivered a speech.
