On October 5th, 2013 (GMT), “Treasure Water Resources·Protect Water Environment” — former NBA stars together with the Water Cellar for Mothers hosted by SAFA (Sino-American Friendship Association) and co-hosted by China Women's Development Foundation and World Tourism Cities Federation was held at Intercontinental Beijing Financial Street. U.S. Basketball team led by Rafer Alston, Yao Ming’s former teammate, Jason Williams and Bonzi Wells as well as more than a hundred representatives from all communities in Beijing attended the event, aiming to pass the positive energy of charity events through the basketball spirit.

The 2013 U.S. - China Friendship Basketball Game, organized by Sino-American Friendship Association (SAFA), hosted by NMGSSBY Company and co-hosted by CHAMPION-DO DISSEMINATION CO.LTD, has been held in Hohhot Stadium in China at 7:30pm on October 3, 2013(GMT). The U.S. team was led by Rafer Alston, Jason Williams and Bonzi Wells. The Chinese team was the Jilin Northeastern Tiger, one of the CBA(Chinese men’s professional league) teams. The game ended up with 87:85 where the U.S. team took a lead.

The 5th annual An Evening of Chinese Culture hit Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets baseball team, on the evening of a game against the Miami Marlins on September 13, 2013. An Evening of Chinese Culture was sponsored by the Sino-American Friendship Association and the Sino-American Culture and Arts Foundation, Cimagine Media Group ,created to give baseball fans insight into China through the country’s traditional cultural forms. As a special annual event, an Evening of Chinese Culture partnered with New York Mets are honored to celebrate this wonderful moments in a Chinese traditional holiday in a way that Chinese culture meets western sport.

June 13th, 2013, China National Tourism Administration(CNTA) organized tourism officials and industry representatives from provinces and cities along the beautiful Yangtze River such as Tibet, Qinghai, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, etc. to come to New York City with Yangtze River tourism enterprises to introduce the Magical Journey of the Yangtze River to North America. The much-anticipated third annual Avalon Invest Caribbean Now 2013 Forum, held here on June 5, with representatives from the Chinese government and the Chinese-American business community as well as investment companies. All had come courting a very receptive audience composed of dozens of Caribbean tourism ministers, private-sector partners and government policy makers. Rufus Ewing, premier of the Turks and Caicos, who outlined the investment opportunities in his destination. The event included a panel titled “China and the Caribbean”had been organized by the Hard Beat Communications, Sino-American Friendship Association and Caribbean Tourism Organization during Caribbean Week.
