New York, NY, Nov.24, 2016: The classic all-American themed floats at the Macy's Thanksgiving parade got spiced up this year as ‘China's Chengdu - Home of the Giant Panda’ sailed through the 90th Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade representing the culture and natural landscapes of the 3,000 year old city of Chengdu, China. This famous historical and cultural city is located in southwestern China and is the capital of Sichuan province.

September, 2015: The “2015 Empowering Women and Sustainable Development Summit” is hosted by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Fund (SDG Fund), China Women Development Foundation (CWDF) and Sino-American Friendship Association (SAFA). This event was significant since it has been 20 years since the "Beijing Call for Action", a landmark women’s rights conference held in Beijing.The opening ceremony, luncheon and summit was on September 22, 2015, at the UN Headquarters.

7/26/2015- 8/6/2015:From 2015 July 26 to August 6, the 2nd Annual U.S.-China Youth International Culture Festival hosted by Sino-American Friendship Association was held successfully in the U.S. This year, students and teachers from Beijing, Anhui and Sichuan provinces visited three major cities in the U.S. - New York, Washington DC, and Boston, and came to touch with and understand American culture from the perspectives of press and media, politics and education.

November, 2014:Nov. 27, 2014 in New York-- History was made on Thanksgiving, November 27, 2014 in the United States for the first time as the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade reached across the globe, to present the ancient and contemporary culture of China's capital. One of the world's fastest rising cosmopolitan cites and tourism destination - Beijing - was united on one float at the 88th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City before 3.5 million people during the parade and over 50 million on television.
